Langdam in Koo | Koo Valley

Langdam Guest Farm is a beautiful and tranquil farm hidden in the Koo Valley. It has spectacular views and a sense of peace – unique to farm-style life. It offers a a beautiful outdoor ceremony area overlooking the dam. The intimate reception area resembles a cozy, rustic barn style venue. There are some beautiful photo opportunities for the couple shoot, including the old ruins, forest areas and beautiful landscapes.

The food is amazing – best Chicken Pie I’ve had in years! And of course this post won’t be complete without the mention of the venue’s majestic dog and a picture of me hugging it…

La La Panzi Lodge | Somerset West

This truly is a hidden gem and it’s perfect for small, intimate weddings and elopements. The venue is surrounded with vineyards, forest and fynbos and has beautiful sea views over False Bay. Lalapanzi Lodge caters for smaller weddings with 8 – 25 guests.  They make sure you receive personal service, delicious food & wine and they are super friendly!

Rickety Bridge | Franschoek

Rickety Bridge is a well known wine Estate is situated in the popular winelands destination, Franschoek. It rests against the slopes of the Franschhoek Mountains overlooking the Wemmershoek Mountain range. It offers amazing views for outdoor weddings.

Classic Cape Dutch furniture, a fire-warmed lounge & country kitchen, dramatic yellow wood-beamed ceilings and pine floors and a stunning tasting room.The estate offers accommodation at Basse Provence Guest House (next door) and 3 en-suite rooms in the Rickety Bridge Manor House.

Groenrivier is situated on a farm in the Riebeeck Valley. The main venue is a beautifully restored barn with an elegant,simplistic feel. For ceremonies they have two unique venues. This includes the rustic historic Cellar and an open-air chapel, situated in a beautiful, leafy garden.
